After starting my writing life churning out essays about books I can no longer understand in languages I can't remember any more, I have been working in roles that have required me to crank out millions of words a year in the form of reports and proposals.  Extensively published, but until recently only as a business writer in trade magazines you've never heard of, my creative writing has begun to peek over the publication and performance parapet.
